Clark Amundson is a native of Highland, Utah and graduated from Lone Peak High School in 2006. During High School, Clark won multiple regional, state, and district championships participating in both Debate and Mock Trial. Even as a teenager, he was passionate about litigation and defending those who need it most. He received his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University received his law degree from Lincoln Memorial University in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Prior to attending law school, Clark enjoyed a successful career as an Internet Marketing Strategist and Consultant helping small business owners amplify their brand and increase their revenues through e-commerce channels. Despite having an established career Clark felt a strong desire to help people navigate some of the hardest times in their lives and decided to attend law school and become a criminal defense attorney in order to do that.
During law school, Clark excelled in several areas of study and received the CALI Award for Excellence for the study of Advanced Evidence and also served as the Captain of the Mock Trial Team. He also interned at two different Public Defender offices in Utah and Tennessee. After law school, Clark went to work for the Public Defender in Salt Lake City where he gained immediate and substantial experience defending a wide array of criminal cases. He handled hundreds of cases. Clark has extensive experience appearing in courts all over Utah and has had success in both Bench and Jury trials.
Clark's experience includes getting clients acquitted in cases involving drugs, domestic violence, assault, lewdness, and theft. In many other cases, Clark has been able to secure favorable outcomes for his clients, allowing them to move on with their lives and put their brush with the law behind them.
