Attorney Russell M. Blood obtained a degree in Economics from Brigham Young University, then returned to his Wyoming home and earned a law degree from the University of Wyoming in 1982. He began practicing law in Casper, Wyoming that fall and spent the next 18 years building a thriving practice and raising his family. His Wyoming practice included work in the areas of estate planning, business organization and planning, real estate, bankruptcy, and contracts. He served in several positions with the Wyoming State Bar, of which he remains a member, and served for a time as general counsel to the Wyoming Association of Realtors.
In 2000, Russ moved to Utah to be closer to family and established a practice in the southern part of the Salt Lake Valley. His practice has focused primarily on estate planning (wills and trusts) and estate administration (including trust administration and probate). He enjoys opportunities for continuing education and strives to keep up with changes in the law and planning techniques, which allows him to continue to serve the planning needs of his clients.
