Timothy Deans attended the University of Utah as an undergrad studying Spanish language and culture. Tim was always interested in immigration law. As a law student at the University of La Verne – College of Law, Tim, was one of only six students who participated in the law school’s immigration clinic providing representation for an individual seeking asylum. Tim was recognized for his academic excellence and being top of his class in Statutory and Transactional Analysis, Legal Remedies, and Sports Law and was recognized on the Dean’s list multiple semesters.
Since becoming an attorney in 2010, Tim worked with his father, James, at his law office in eviction matters and filing petitions and applications for immigration benefits. James built a law practice to help landlords with their evictions needs. Over the 40 years in operation, Mr. Deans’ office handled tens of thousands of eviction cases. Tim has always felt like he learned from the best in understanding housing laws and eviction cases. In immigration, Tim understands the difficulty it is to navigate forms and legal requirements. He has helped couples apply for immigration benefits such as permanent residence, fiancée visas, asylum, and citizenship. It’s always a joyful experience being able to unite couples and families by helping them understand the immigration process.
Tim and his wife are parents to three girls and one boy. He enjoys spending as much time as he can with his family attending their activities and playing with them. Sports has always been a big part of his life whether it’s playing tennis, basketball, football, or ping pong.
